Theninthelate1700sScottishsoldiersintheBritishArmybegantowearkilts.Onereasonforthiswasnationalfeeling.TheScottishsoldierswantedtolookdifferentfromtheEnglishsoldiers.TheBritishArmyprobablyhadadifferentreason:AScottishsoldierinakiltwasalwayseasytofind!TheScottishsoldierfoughtveryhardandbecamefamous.Thekiltwaspartofthatfameandintheearly1800smenallroundScotlandbegantowearkilts.
