Having dated my boyfriend for a year，I got an engagement（订婚）ring for Christmas．Mom，sisters and I searched bridal shops（婚纱店）for my wedding dress I would wear in June．We finally bought a beautiful dress in a little shop while it was too large and costly．With no alterations in the shop，I would have to get it resized in my hometown．
